Production Readiness for AI-Built SoftwareBuilt fast with AI? Make it ready for real users.

Code audit · Security · Performance · Architecture

AI coding tools can get a product to demo day in weeks. Getting it through launch day — real users, real data, real traffic — takes engineering. We review, test and harden AI-generated and fast-built codebases so they hold up in production.

Who it’s for

  • Founders who built an MVP with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Claude Code or ChatGPT
  • Teams that inherited a codebase nobody fully understands
  • Companies preparing for a launch, a fundraise or a customer’s security review
  • Products that slow down or fall over as usage grows

What’s included

01

Code audit & bug fixing

A thorough review of the codebase to find the logic errors, broken edge cases and fragile patterns AI tools commonly introduce — followed by a prioritised plan or the fixes themselves.

  • Logic errors, unhandled edge cases and race conditions
  • Missing input validation and error handling
  • Duplicated, dead or hallucinated code and dependencies
  • Readability and structure, so the next developer can maintain it
02

Security & vulnerability assessment

We look for the weaknesses attackers look for, at the code, configuration and dependency level.

  • Authentication, authorisation and session handling
  • Injection, XSS, CSRF and the rest of the OWASP Top 10
  • Exposed secrets and API keys, open databases and misconfigured cloud storage
  • Vulnerable and outdated dependencies
  • LLM-specific risks: prompt injection, data leakage and unsafe tool use
03

Performance & scalability

Load testing that simulates your launch-day traffic, then fixes for whatever breaks first.

  • Load and stress testing with realistic traffic patterns
  • Slow queries, missing indexes and N+1 query problems
  • Caching, queues and background jobs for heavy work
  • Front-end performance and Core Web Vitals
  • Infrastructure right-sizing and cloud and AI cost control
  • Payment and transaction flows hardened for peak volume
04

System design & architecture

An independent review of how the pieces fit together — or a design for what comes next.

  • Architecture review with clear diagrams and documentation
  • Data modelling and database design
  • Scaling strategy: horizontal scaling, multi-tenancy and high availability
  • Build-versus-buy and third-party integration decisions
  • A migration path from prototype to a production-grade stack
05

Testing, CI/CD & reliability

The safety nets that let you keep shipping quickly without breaking what already works.

  • Automated tests around critical user journeys
  • CI/CD pipelines that check every change before it ships
  • Logging, monitoring and alerting
  • Backups, disaster recovery and incident runbooks

How it works

Four steps to production.

  1. 01

    Assess

A fixed-scope review of your code, infrastructure and traffic expectations.

  2. 02

    Report

Findings ranked by severity and business impact, each with a recommended fix.

  3. 03

    Fix

We fix the issues ourselves, or pair with your team to do it together.

  4. 04

    Verify

    Re-test, load-test and sign off against a production-launch checklist.

What you get

  • A prioritised findings report, rated by severity
  • Fixes delivered as reviewed pull requests
  • Load-test results with before-and-after numbers
  • Architecture diagrams and documentation
  • A production-launch checklist for your team

Frequently asked questions

Do you only review AI-generated code?

No. AI-built and “vibe-coded” apps are a common reason teams come to us, but we audit and harden any codebase — including ones built quickly by human teams under deadline pressure.

Which languages and frameworks do you cover?

Most modern web and mobile stacks, including JavaScript and TypeScript (React, Next.js, Node), PHP (Laravel), Python, Go and Kotlin, on PostgreSQL, MySQL, Supabase, Firebase and the major clouds.

Can you fix the issues, or only report them?

Both. Some clients want a report for their own developers; others want us to deliver the fixes. Many choose a mix: we take the critical items and hand over the rest.

Is this the same as a penetration test?

Our security review works from the inside — code, configuration and dependencies — and includes targeted testing of what we find. If you need a formal third-party penetration test for compliance, we help you prepare for it and fix what it uncovers.

What access do you need?

Usually read access to the code repository and a staging environment to start. We are happy to sign an NDA before seeing anything.

How long does an audit take?

It depends on the size of the codebase and what you need covered. After a short call we agree a fixed scope and timeline before any work starts.
